The Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS) assists people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, to obtain and maintain housing. Culturally-relevant, wholistic, and supportive programs and services that address issues related to homelessness of urban Indigenous people, can be found in 14 sites across the province.
The Urban Aboriginal Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Program provides culturally appropriate wholistic prevention and intervention support to urban Aboriginal individuals and families impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The FASD program strives to increase awareness of FASD, and prevention strategies for individuals and communities. This program supports and provides resources to individuals, families and caregiver(s) impacted by FASD.
